Piar is growing its team of behavioral science practitioners to work on studies for clients, facilitate workshops, design interventions, and produce high-impact research in PR, communications, and organizational settings. This is a remote role open to candidates in any geography.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join project teams to support client-facing work based on your experience and academic expertise. You will develop strategies for behavioral interventions, test hypotheses, and guide teams through gathering, analysis, and synthesis of evidence. You’ll help facilitate workshops, lead both primary and secondary research, produce measurement frameworks, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Engagements span digital products, internal communications, consumer insights, and decision architecture—touching sectors such as healthcare, financial services, consumer packaged goods, transportation, and energy. Projects drive meaningful results for organizations and society, with opportunities to contribute to Piar’s expanding international footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Structure and deliver high-quality behavioral science studies tailored to client needs
  • Synthesize research across literature, stakeholder interviews, field observations, surveys, and experimental methods
  • Conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
  • Form evidence-backed hypotheses and communicate recommendations clearly
  • Co-design workshops and facilitate evidence-based learning for clients
  • Write up key insights and develop practical tools for behavioral interventions
  • Contribute to measurement, impact evaluation, and proposals when needed

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s or PhD in a behavioral or social science (e.g., psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, behavioral economics, marketing)
  • At least 3 years in a client-facing environment applying behavioral science to real-world challenges
  • Practical knowledge of research methods, statistics, counterfactual reasoning, and data analysis
  • Strong writing and communication skills; comfort presenting to executive leadership
  • Examples of thought leadership, published work, or past project experience related to behavior change (please share links, if available)
  • Additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish, Japanese, German, or Arabic) are assets
